Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has taken yet another important step in its Middle East expansion strategy. A management agreement for a modern 5-star hotel in the heart of the Syrian capital, Damascus has just been signed with the owning company Toumeh International Group. The new Mövenpick Hotel Damascus, which will form part of a large shopping mall, is already under construction and scheduled for completion in 2010.
